It’s often a good idea to have a few spare pairs to hand when rehearsals and gigs come thick and fast. With this pack of 4 pairs of Vic Firth American Classic X5B for the price of 3, you get an extra pair at no extra cost. A simple way to top up your stock and ensure you always have identical drumsticks to hand, whatever the situation.

The X5B is based on the 5B profile, favoured by many drummers for its more substantial grip compared to a 5A. Their 1.51 cm diameter provides a fuller feel in the hand and a more assertive strike. Added to this is a length of 41.91 cm – 1.27 cm longer than a standard 5B – which gives you greater reach and leverage behind every stroke.

Made from American hickory and finished with a varnish, they feature a teardrop-shaped wooden olive that promotes a balanced response on both cymbals and drumheads. With their medium attack, they are equally suited to the powerful rhythms of rock as well as situations where greater presence and impact in the playing are required.
