This pair of Vic Firth Matt Cameron Signature drumsticks builds on the foundations of a classic hickory 5B, but features an increased length of 41.12 cm to reach the furthest-flung cymbals with maximum power.
Far from being a mere club, they surprise with a very long shaft that refines their silhouette: this weight distribution shifts the balance point towards the hand, unleashing excellent responsiveness for navigating the asymmetrical rhythmic patterns characteristic of grunge.
The end is finished with a barrel-shaped wooden olive, calibrated to produce a full, rich and cutting resonance, ideal for making a ride cymbal’s bell ring out in the midst of a saturated mix.
A coat of traditional varnish covers the 1.49 cm diameter shaft, ensuring a smooth grip for drummers who like to hit hard without sacrificing precision.
