Each flat-spun nickel string has a smooth, even feel, allowing it to glide easily under the fingers while retaining the rich, warm sound of a classic double bass.
The low B adds extra extension, giving more freedom for low lines and extended grooves.
The magnetic steel core and polished wire-reinforced ends ensure stable tension and reliable tuning. The silk winding at the ends protects the knot and allows the instrument to be played by hand or bow, while maintaining a consistent, accurate sound.
