Presentation
WiiM’s Bar Noir mat combines film and music listening in a single device. Its Dolby Atmos 3.0.2 configuration, delivering 135 W through 8 speakers and 4 passive radiators, is equally suited to films and video games as it is to high-resolution music up to 192 kHz/24-bit.
The system features three tweeters, three mid-bass drivers and two vertical Atmos speakers, designed to reproduce the various layers of the soundscape. RoomFit™ technology automatically calibrates the sound to suit the room’s acoustics, whilst the AI-powered Clear Voice mode emphasises dialogue. Night Mode reduces intense sound effects for a more comfortable listening experience at night.
A 2.1-inch colour touchscreen makes it easy to navigate through album covers, sources, settings and playback controls. The soundbar offers comprehensive connectivity: HDMI eARC, optical input, Line In, USB Audio, RJ45 Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
It supports Chromecast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Roon and DLNA, and can be expanded with a 5.1.2 home cinema system featuring surround speakers and a wireless WiiM subwoofer.
