In an outdoor sound system, high and mid-range frequencies are not always enough to give the system depth and impact. The WORK ARENA 28 SUB has been designed to provide this essential bass foundation, whilst maintaining a level of durability suited to exposed environments.

Its dual 8-inch driver configuration enables it to produce a faster and more evenly distributed bass response than a single subwoofer in the same category. The band-pass acoustic load optimises efficiency and enhances the sense of energy at the lower end of the spectrum, whilst limiting distortion at high volumes.

With a sensitivity of 95 dB and a maximum sound pressure level of 125 dB SPL, it provides effective support for ARENA systems, particularly in large-scale installations.

Designed to work in direct conjunction with the coaxial loudspeakers in the range, it integrates naturally into outdoor or semi-open sound reinforcement projects: stadiums, event venues, leisure facilities, sports complexes or places of worship. Its 4-ohm impedance makes it suitable for use with professional amplifiers capable of delivering high power output in a stable manner.

The mechanical design adheres to the ARENA series’ standards of robustness. The moisture-resistant polyvinyl enclosure, the corrosion-resistant aluminium grille and the internal protection system ensure reliable long-term performance.

The waterproof 4-pin Speakon XLN connector guarantees a secure connection even in challenging conditions. Finally, its compact size and U-shaped mounting bracket make it easy to integrate into a variety of set-ups, whether floor-mounted or suspended, depending on the venue’s requirements.
