The WORK DM 1N is a desktop microphone designed for professional public address applications where clarity of announcements and ease of use are essential. Its condenser design, combined with a cardioid polar pattern, ensures precise voice pickup whilst minimising noise from the sides and rear of the microphone.
Equipped with a built-in activation button, the DM 1N allows the user to control when the microphone is activated. When activated, the microphone automatically plays four pre-announcement tones to attract the audience’s attention before the message begins. This function is particularly well-suited to environments requiring structured announcements, such as shops, reception areas, public buildings, places of worship or security facilities.
The microphone offers several connection options thanks to its balanced output via a male XLR3 connector and its unbalanced output via a female 6.35 mm TS jack. An output level control allows the signal sent to the audio system to be precisely adjusted, whilst a separate potentiometer controls the volume of the warning tones.
