The WORK EST 519/2 has been designed to act as a safeguard, ensuring a constant power supply even when the mains supply becomes unstable.
It operates using a microprocessor-based control system capable of automatically adjusting the output voltage to maintain a usable power supply for the connected equipment. As long as the input remains between 140 and 250 volts, the system corrects any fluctuations to prevent drops in performance or the risk of malfunction in sensitive equipment such as mixing desks, processors or sound reinforcement systems.
One of its key features is its adjustable power-up delay (3 or 6 seconds), designed to prevent noise and power surges when switching on an entire system. This function is particularly useful in audio racks where several devices are powered up simultaneously.
The 4U rack-mount chassis features a large LCD screen, providing a clear display of key parameters: input voltage, output voltage, current consumption and protection status. The user can also adjust the regulation accuracy to suit the installation’s requirements.
In terms of safety, the EST 519/2 incorporates several levels of protection: overload, overheating and input overvoltage. These safety features help prevent damage to the entire connected system, even under degraded mains conditions.
