Presentation
The NEO 6 IP Black is designed for permanent sound systems where the main requirement is uninterrupted service in exposed environments. It features an ABS construction combined with an aluminium grille and an IP65 rating, ensuring resistance to water splashes and dust without the need for an additional protective enclosure.
The acoustic design centres on a 6.5-inch driver complemented by a 1-inch tweeter. This combination aims to deliver balanced sound reproduction across the entire usable frequency range, with a response extending up to 20 kHz and a maximum sound pressure level of 109 dB. The 120° × 90° dispersion angle ensures even sound coverage over large areas, particularly when wall-mounted.
The hybrid operation allows direct connection to 8-ohm amplifiers or 70/100 V constant-voltage systems. The various taps on the internal transformer offer several power levels to adapt the sound level to the area being covered. Installation is simplified by an adjustable mounting system allowing adjustment along two axes, without the need for complex tools or additional accessories.
