Work - PA 5000

The WORK PA 5000 is a 480 W power amplifier designed for fixed public address systems. Compatible with 4- and 8-ohm loudspeakers as well as 70 V and 100 V audio distribution networks, it meets the requirements of many professional installations.

The unit features a balanced XLR audio input and a 6.35 mm jack input, allowing connection to various audio sources. A Link output allows the input signal to be routed to a second amplifier or other equipment, making it easy to expand an installation.

The front panel features a master volume control and an independent three-band equaliser covering bass, midrange and treble. These controls allow the sound reproduction to be adjusted directly from the amplifier according to the characteristics of the sound system.

The PA 5000 incorporates an automatic signal compression system. When the internal temperature rises, the output level is gradually reduced to protect the power circuits and the connected loudspeakers. If operating conditions require it, the amplifier automatically cuts off the sound output and activates the protection indicator. A protection device against overvoltage and significant fluctuations in the supply current complements these safety features.

Housed in a 2-unit 19-inch rack-mount chassis, the PA 5000 is a suitable solution for public address systems used in public buildings, schools, retail outlets, multi-purpose halls, places of worship or music playback installations.
