Presentation
The WORK MMX 62 MKII is an analogue mixing console designed for professional audio installations requiring reliable management of multiple sound sources. Its 19-inch single-unit rack-mountable design makes it easy to integrate into equipment racks in hotels, conference rooms, retail outlets, educational establishments, places of worship or public address systems.
It provides seven mic/line inputs and three stereo line inputs for simultaneously connecting microphones, media players, computers or other audio equipment. The mic inputs use balanced XLR/jack combo sockets and allow selection between mic and line level operation. Switchable phantom power is also available for compatible condenser microphones.
The MMX 62 MKII features a priority function on the first channel. When a microphone is used on this input, the levels of the other sources are automatically attenuated to ensure perfect intelligibility of announcements. The sensitivity of this priority function can be adjusted directly from the rear panel to adapt its behaviour to the requirements of each installation.
The output section offers great flexibility with a balanced stereo output via XLR, a balanced mono output and a stereo recording output via RCA. The three-band equaliser on the main bus allows the frequency response to be precisely adjusted to suit the venue.
Is it designed for continuous operation? Yes, the MMX 62 MKII also incorporates a 24 V DC backup power supply. This feature keeps the system operational in the event of a mains power cut when a backup power supply is in use, a feature particularly valued in critical installations.
