Presentation
The WORK MMX 65 is an analogue mixing desk specially developed for sound reinforcement systems requiring the management of multiple playback areas. Its architecture, comprising two independent zones, allows different audio sources to be easily distributed to several rooms or sections of the same building, whilst maintaining precise control over each output.
Housed in a 1U 19-inch rack, it features seven input channels for connecting microphones, audio players or turntables. The two microphone inputs on channels 2 and 3 can be supplied with +12 V phantom power, whilst the dedicated line/phono input facilitates the integration of numerous analogue sources. Each channel has a selector switch allowing it to be assigned to Zone A, Zone B or both simultaneously, offering great flexibility in configuration.
The first microphone channel features a talkover function with adjustable sensitivity. When an announcement is made, the level of the other sources is automatically attenuated to ensure perfect speech intelligibility. Additional settings, such as equalisation and delay applied to the voice channel, allow announcements to be further optimised.
The two main outputs each have their own three-band equalisation to adapt the sound output to the acoustics of each space. This independence is particularly valued in shops, museums, restaurants, hotels and public buildings where multiple broadcast zones require specific settings.
With its extensive routing options, professional-grade connectivity and intuitive operation, the WORK MMX 65 provides a comprehensive solution for multi-zone audio installations requiring flexibility and ease of use.
