The package includes a transmitter, receiver and X-Vive Lavalier LV1 lapel microphone, providing a complete solution for recording voice audio. The U5T2's wireless technology allows the 2.4 GHz audio signal to be broadcast to multiple receivers, giving you the flexibility to send it to two video cameras, an audio mixer or a recorder. You can even customise your system by adding extra components, such as a U5T transmitter, U5R receiver, LV2 lapel microphone or U5C battery charger with three U5B batteries.

The U5 transmitter offers a Line-In option, allowing you to connect another mono audio source, such as a mixer or audio player, using a 3.5mm (1/8") line input. In addition, the receiver can send its signal to an audio device such as a mixer or recorder, instead of a DSLR or video camera.

The transmitter has a sturdy belt clip for secure attachment, and its compact size makes it easy to carry. The LV1 lapel microphone has a 3.5mm screw-in plug to prevent accidental disconnection, while the power switch is designed to prevent operating errors.

The U5 system uses X-Vive's exclusive rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, providing up to five hours of continuous performance with a fast two-and-a-half hour recharge. For longer shoots, spare U5B batteries can be easily replaced in seconds.
