Raised in the heart of the Los Angeles jazz and gospel scene, he has established himself as one of the pillars of the jazz-fusion, pop and progressive rock movements.
His impressive CV includes major collaborations with legends such as Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller and Wayne Shorter, as well as Stevie Wonder, Prince, Kendrick Lamar and the crossover punk band Suicidal Tendencies. His playing is characterised by phenomenal speed, complex polyrhythms and pinpoint precision.
