A charismatic and radiant drummer with the Foo Fighters from 1997 until his tragic death in 2022, Taylor Hawkins was one of the most beloved musicians on the global rock scene. Before forming his close-knit partnership with Dave Grohl, he had cut his teeth on stage with Alanis Morissette. Inspired by Roger Taylor (Queen) and Stewart Copeland (The Police), his playing was characterised by an athletic, memorably powerful style, an innate flair for showmanship and an exceptional rock voice that regularly allowed him to sing Queen classics at concerts whilst pounding away at his drums.
