The Zildjian I Family 22" Ride is aimed at drummers who like wider ripples, with more projection and a more open feel under the sticks. Thanks to its 22" diameter, it develops a more present wash than a 20" model, while retaining a clear, controlled definition for regular patterns.
Its medium weight helps maintain a good balance between precision and musicality. Strokes remain legible with a clean attack, while harmonics take up more space in the mix. This extra presence works particularly well in live contexts or styles where the ride plays a central role in the groove.
