The Zildjian I Family Band 14" cymbals have been developed for percussion ensembles, marching bands and school programmes looking for a clear, easy-to-control sound. Thanks to their 14-inch diameter and medium-thin weight, these cymbals remain light in the hand, helping young musicians to work on movements, accents and coordination without feeling excessively heavy.
Their rapid response produces a bright, precise and fairly high-pitched crash, perfect for bringing out the attacks in an orchestral ensemble or marching band. Strikes remain crisp and clear, even during dynamic passages or collective crescendos. This clarity also makes it easier to hear nuances during group work.
Made from B8 alloy, they develop a modern, bright sound while retaining a supple feel in the hands.
