The Zildjian KER0122 cymbal follows in the tradition of the ancient Turkish K cymbals, while benefiting from modern manufacturing techniques. Hand-hammered, it retains the irregularities and richness that make Kerope so unique.
The surface work, with its deep grooves and hand-applied wax, promotes both precision and warmth of tone. The ride sound is clear, defined and never stifled by sustain. Used in a crash, it delivers controlled power and complex warmth.
This cymbal retains a unique depth, with dark harmonics that enrich the sound spectrum. Craigie Zildjian's signature engraved in the bell is a reminder of the historical dimension of the series.
