The Zildjian L80 Low Volume 16" Crash has been developed for drummers who want to rediscover the feel of real acoustic playing while keeping the volume down. Thanks to its special perforated design, this crash produces up to 80% less volume than a conventional cymbal, making it particularly suitable for home rehearsals, drum lessons or small set-ups where volume needs to be kept under control.
Despite this significant reduction in noise, the feel remains very close to that of a real acoustic crash. The stick bounce, the response under the hands and the opening of the cymbal all remain natural, making it easy to work on dynamics, accents and movement without changing your playing habits.
With its 16-inch diameter and thin weight, it reacts quickly with a smooth, controlled response. It works equally well with sticks, brooms or mallets, making it practical for a variety of exercises and musical contexts.
Its sandblasted matt finish gives it a distinctive modern look. This crash can also be used in a hybrid setup, as a stacker or combined with other L80 elements to create more original textures at low volume.
