The Zildjian Marc Quiñones Signature Timbales “Rock” pair of sticks is designed specifically for percussionists performing in high-volume live settings that require maximum projection.

Designed for heavy and powerful musical applications, this Signature version takes things up a notch compared to the classic “Salsa” model by increasing its diameter to .500”.

This structural thickening provides additional mass and formidable impact force, whilst retaining a very generous length of 16.62” to ensure optimal reach across complex percussion set-ups.

The shaft features an exclusive red DIP coating, offering a highly grippy texture that secures the grip against the centrifugal force generated by heavy, repeated strikes.

Machined from premium American hickory, the body of the instrument features a perfectly straight cylindrical profile, with no neck or tapering. Both ends are left unfinished, a design essential for maximising the contact surface during rim shots and producing an ultra-powerful, crisp and cutting timbale sound.

This all-wood construction produces an extremely punchy, organic resonance, allowing Afro-Cuban and Latin rhythms to assert themselves with authority, brilliance and body even within the densest rock and fusion arrangements.
