Zildjian has been at the forefront of several major developments in modern drumming. During the 20th century, the company worked with drummers to develop cymbals suited to new musical styles.

This approach contributed to the rise of cymbals suited to jazz, and later to rock and other styles. The brand is now part of the family-owned group that brings together Zildjian and Vic Firth, two major names in the world of percussion.

Its product range includes cymbals, drumsticks, mallets and accessories. This combination of sound research, collaborations with artists and family heritage is one of Zildjian’s defining features.
