Zoom - H4N PRO Black

The Zoom H4N PRO Black is a versatile and rugged digital recorder, ideal for musicians, podcasters, videographers and audio engineers on the go.

Capable of recording on four channels simultaneously, this recorder is equipped with high-fidelity microphone preamps that ensure clear and accurate sound capture.

Built-in X/Y stereo microphones, adjustable at 90˚ and 120˚, provide rich and detailed stereo pickup, capable of handling sound pressure levels up to 140 dB SPL.

The H4N PRO Black offers two Mic/Line inputs with XLR/TRS combo connectors, as well as a 1/8" mini phone stereo mic input.

It supports +24V or +48V phantom power for the main inputs and 2.5V via the Mic/Line mini phone jack.

The headphone output with dedicated volume control allows for convenient and immediate audio monitoring.

This model is designed with a new ergonomic and rubberized housing, as well as a 1.9-inch backlit LCD screen for better visibility.

It also has a built-in speaker for quick reference listening. The Zoom H4N PRO Black records directly to SD and SDHC cards up to 32 GB, supporting high-quality audio formats up to 24-bit/96 kHz and a variety of MP3 formats.

It integrates a Mid-Side decoding function and an internal mixdown allowing you to convert 4 tracks into stereo or stereo into 2 mono tracks.

Available sample rates include 44.1, 48, and 96 kHz for WAV and 44.1 kHz for MP3. Up to 99 bookmarks can be added per recording, making it easy to navigate through audio files.

The Zoom H4N PRO Black offers 53 built-in effect types, including compressors/limiters, bandwidth filters, modulation, reverb/delay, and amplifier simulations.

Normalization and track splitting functions are also included. It offers a chromatic tuner and metronome for musicians, as well as a loop playback function with user-defined start and stop points.

The playback speed is variable from 50% to 150% without affecting the pitch, and the pitch can be adjusted without affecting the playback speed.

The USB port allows for easy file transfer to a computer, and the unit functions as a 2-in/2-out audio interface for PC/Mac.

It can be mounted on a mic stand, tripod, or directly onto devices with the optional "Hot Shoe" adapter.

The unit runs on two standard AA batteries (not included) or rechargeable NiMH batteries for up to 6 hours of battery life (10 hours in STAMINA mode).

Included accessories include a protective case and user manual. Optional accessories include the PCH-4n protective case, WSU-1 windscreen, MA-2 mic stand adapter, RC4 remote control, HS-1 Hot Shoe Mount, and AD-14 AC adapter. These items are mostly included in the APH4N PRO bundle.
