The Tascam DR-07XP is a portable digital recorder designed to deliver detailed and flexible sound capture. Its compact and ergonomic design makes it easy to carry and ideal for a variety of applications, from music recording to interviews and field reporting.

Thanks to its high-performance unidirectional stereo microphones, it can adapt the sound recording in X-Y configuration (clear sound with less phase shift) or A-B configuration (wider stereo sound).

Capable of recording in linear PCM WAV at up to 96 kHz in 32-bit floating point, the DR-07XP guarantees a wide dynamic range without the risk of saturation. It also supports MP3 files from 32 to 320 kbps, allowing the optimization of the size of recordings according to needs.

Its overlay mode allows you to add a new audio take to an existing file, a feature appreciated by musicians and podcasters.

The recorder integrates several sound management tools, such as a limiter, a peak reducer, an automatic level control and an adjustable low-cut filter. To avoid any signal loss, it offers a pre-recording mode that automatically saves the two seconds before pressing the REC button.

In addition, its automatic recording is activated as soon as a sound is detected beyond a defined threshold.

On the storage side, the DR-07XP is compatible with microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC cards up to 512 GB, guaranteeing an extended recording capacity. Its autonomy reaches 17 hours with two AA batteries, and it can also be powered via USB-C. Its backlit LCD screen makes it easy to access settings, and it has a built-in speaker for quick preview of recordings.

The ergonomics of the device are enhanced by the presence of a 3.5 mm mini-jack headphone jack and a USB-C port for file transfer or use as a USB audio interface. For musicians, it includes a tuner and an integrated reverb applied in real time to recording or playback.

With its robustness, sound quality and many features, the Tascam DR-07XP is a reliable companion for anyone looking for a high-performance and easy-to-use recorder.
