AKG - HT470 D5 Bande 1
The AKG HT470 D5 Band 1 is an analogue wireless handheld transmitter designed for professional stage, conference and event applications. Its dynamic D5 supercardioid capsule ensures excellent speech intelligibility, while its stable HF transmission and infrared synchronisation facilitate multi-channel configurations.
Presentation
The dynamic D5 supercardioid capsule provides clear vocal reproduction with good isolation from peripheral sound. This directional characteristic effectively limits the risk of feedback while maintaining a natural, accurate voice, even in powerful broadcast configurations or on noisy stages. The microphone's behaviour remains stable as the speaker or singer moves around, making the sound engineer's job easier.
The integrated Pilot Tone transmission system secures HF operation by preventing unwanted noise caused by accidental switching off and on of the transmitter. The HT470 also transmits battery life information directly to the receiver, so you can monitor the state of the battery during use. Infrared synchronisation enables rapid pairing with the SR470 receiver, particularly useful for quick set-ups or frequent configuration changes.
The transmitter operates on Band 1 covering the 650 to 680 MHz range, with a bandwidth of 30 MHz and up to 1220 frequencies selectable in 25 kHz steps. This flexibility allows integration into complex multi-channel systems with up to 24 simultaneous systems recommended depending on the RF environment used.
AKG also uses an integrated dipole antenna design to ensure stable transmission even when the hand partially covers the transmitter during use. Compatible with a range of AA and rechargeable batteries, the HT470 can operate for up to 14 hours on a single FR6 lithium battery.

Founded in 1947 in Vienna, AKG is today one of the major players in the world of audio, with references for microphones and headphones used in the world's largest recording studios. These include the C414 condenser microphone, the small C451 diaphragm and the K series of monitoring headsets.
Since its acquisition by Harman International in 1994, AKG has continued to innovate with new stage microphones, analog and digital wireless systems, the Perception Series, and collaborations with artists such as Tiësto on DJ headphones.
