The Aguilar AG 700 V2 bass amp head combines high power, compact size and modern features to meet the demands of bassists in live or studio situations. Its Class D amplification delivers up to 700 W RMS into 4 ohms, with management possible up to 2.67 ohms, offering great flexibility in the choice of cabinet configurations.
The transistor preamp ensures accurate, dynamic playback, while the active 4-band EQ provides detailed frequency adjustment. The Deep and Bright switches make it easy to adapt the soundstage quickly, boosting the bass and treble respectively, depending on the context.
This V2 version incorporates the Aguilar Cabinet Suite, enabling impulse responses (IR) to be loaded to simulate different baffles directly from the head. This feature optimises live use via the dual XLR DI output, offering two independent signals that can be used for front-of-house and monitoring.
The comprehensive connectivity also includes an effects loop, headphone output, auxiliary input and USB-C port for IR management. The multi-voltage switched-mode power supply and thermally controlled ventilation system ensure stable, reliable operation.
