Aguilar - DB700

The Aguilar DB 700 hybrid bass amp head follows in the footsteps of the amps that have helped build the brand’s reputation amongst bassists.

Its preamp, fitted with two 12AX7 valves, forms the heart of its sound architecture, delivering a sound that retains body in the bass, presence in the midrange and excellent definition in the treble.

The 3-band EQ then allows you to shape the sound to suit your instrument and the tone you’re aiming for, whilst the Deep and Bright controls offer two additional ways to quickly adjust the sound.

With its 700 W of continuous power and Class D power section, the DB 700 has ample headroom to drive a variety of cabinets and playing set-ups.

Its flexible impedance management makes it easy to pair with a wide variety of cabinets. It thus retains the Aguilar sound signature in a design tailored for bassists who need a head capable of keeping up with their setup without taking up too much space.

The DB 700 also goes a step further in terms of connectivity. The two XLR outputs are suitable for sending the signal to a mixing desk or PA system, whilst the effects loop, tuner output, auxiliary input and headphone output allow it to be integrated into both a live performance setup and a home practice setup.

The USB-C port provides access to the Aguilar Cabinet Suite and the use of cabinet IRs to fine-tune the direct signal. Its rack-mountable chassis, included rack ears and universal mains power supply round off a design particularly well-suited to mobile set-ups and touring.
