With the FR10BU, Alecto offers a kit of two walkie-talkies designed for proximity communications without using the telephone network. The duo operates on the licence-free PMR446 band, enabling immediate use for leisure, event organisation or field coordination.
In an unobstructed environment, the range can reach up to 6 kilometres, providing comfortable coverage for most outdoor situations.
Each handset has 8 channels with 121 CTCSS and DCS privacy codes. This configuration helps to limit interference and maintain cleaner exchanges when several users occupy the same radio zone.
The VOX function automatically triggers voice transmission, useful when hands are busy. For more direct control, communication remains accessible via the PTT button. Automatic channel scanning makes it easy to find an available frequency.
The user interface remains clear thanks to the white backlit display, which can be read even in low-light conditions. The adjustable volume, 10 available ring tones and low battery indicator all contribute to comfortable everyday use. The supplied belt clip makes it easy to carry when you're on the move.
