The FR-175 White/Black set from Alecto turns every outing into a small expedition. Two compact walkie-talkies with built-in light and backlit display keep you in touch in the garden, in the park or on holiday.
In open terrain, the range is up to 7 km, but varies according to the environment and obstacles. Eight channels and 38 CTCSS sub-codes limit interference, and the VOX function allows hands-free use.
Recharging is via the docking station supplied, and the NiMH batteries included can also be replaced with AAA batteries.
Belt clips and a 2.5 mm headphone jack make them easy to use. Easy to handle, these talkies reassure parents while leaving plenty of room for play.
