Allen & Heath - Avantis Pack IO

The Avantis from Allen & Heath is a state-of-the-art digital mixing console offering 64 channels and 42 configurable buses, designed for ultra-low latency of 0.7 ms thanks to its 96 kHz XCVI FPGA engine.
Its user interface is distinguished by two 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreens that allow seamless interaction between physical controls and digital parameters, making access to settings quick and intuitive. A custom-made cover is included to protect and transport the console, ensuring optimum durability during travel.

The major innovation of the Avantis is its "Continuity UI", which allows the faders to react to touch, instantly highlighting the active channels for intuitive manipulation of gains, pans, EQ or compression. The system includes a next-generation 61-band RTA (real time analyzer), facilitating detailed sonic analysis in real time. In addition, RF integration with Shure and Sennheiser wireless microphones provides powerful audio processing options and flexibility.

The Allen & Heath Avantis is distinguished by its compatibility with multiple expansion cards, such as Dante, Waves, gigaACE and MADI. This flexibility allows integration with a variety of systems, from FoH/monitor splits to multitrack recording.
Additional I/O ports expand local capabilities with XLR analog inputs and outputs as well as AES digital connections, meeting the requirements of the most complex sound installations.

The IO package also includes the GX4816 stage box, providing a complete solution for managing connections on stage. This rack-mountable box offers 48 XLR inputs with individually configurable phantom power and 16 XLR outputs. Operating at a sample rate of 96 kHz, it includes an Ethercon connector for carrying digital audio and control signals, and two additional Ethercon connectors for expansion, one of which is compatible with the ME Personal Mixing System. The mic preamps are remotely controllable and recallable, with automatic firmware updates.

The Avantis can be configured and customized using the Avantis Director, MixPad app and Custom Control app. These tools, combined with a range of remote controllers and GPIO interfaces, allow precise parameter management and extensive control of IEM mixes on stage, as well as additional fader banks at the FoH. This customization capability ensures optimal adaptation to the specific needs of each sound project, facilitating the work of sound engineers.

By integrating the dLive Pack into your Avantis console, you benefit from the Dyn8, a processor with 4 bands of dynamic EQ and 4 bands of multiband compression. This pack lets you master vocals, tighten up subgroups, or add sonic cohesion to the mix, with the ability to insert 16 Dyn8 engines on the input and mix channels. The dLive Pack also includes effects like DEEP Compressors and Dual Stage Valve Preamp, providing classic emulations without latency or third-party gear, as well as exclusive effects like Transient Controller and HypaBass, rivaling the best third-party plug-ins without the latency or phase issues.
