The XONE:92 MK2 from Allen & Heath is a modernised version of a mixer that has left its mark on clubs and DJs around the world. This analogue model has been updated, while maintaining the sonic authenticity for which the Xone series is renowned. The XONE:92 MK2 stays true to its heritage with high-precision analogue components and a refined sound architecture, designed to deliver an Allen & Heath.international mixing experience.

One of the central features of this console is its dual VCF (Voltage Controlled Filter), optimised to offer more precise control over frequencies. Each channel can be assigned to one of the two filters, allowing smooth transitions without clicks thanks to silent switching. Control of the resonance and cut-off frequencies of the filters is now even more precise, giving DJs perfect control of the effects during their sets. This revision of the VCF filters offers the flexibility to sculpt the sound in real time, whether with gradual rises or abrupt filters.

The EQ section is also a strong point of the XONE:92 MK2. Each channel has a fully analogue 4-band EQ, with 'total kill' on the high and low frequencies (HI and LO), and adjustable midrange (HM and LM) for granular control of the mix. This feature is particularly suited to DJs looking for control over long transitions and cuts, essential for genres such as techno and house.

The new version of the XONE:92 includes an innoFADER® Pro crossfader, which has been improved to offer greater fluidity and longevity. The crossfader is user-replaceable and can be customised by adjusting the curve via a potentiometer, allowing you to go from a smooth transition to an instant cut.

The design of the XONE:92 MK2 has been slightly revamped with a new Storm Grey finish, modernising its visuals without unfamiliarising users. The UV screen-printing makes the knobs and buttons more visible in low-light environments, as is often the case in clubs and festivals.

The XONE:92 MK2's analogue audio circuit has also been redesigned to maximise sound quality. The new phono preamps make the most of vinyl records, with an RIAA curve specially adapted to electronic music, offering clarity in the low frequencies. This optimisation provides a better match between line and phono sources, facilitating the transition between vinyl and digital sources while maintaining impeccable sound quality.

To complete the package, the XONE:92 MK2 is equipped with 6 stereo channels, 4 for phono/line inputs and 2 for mic/line inputs. Each channel has a dedicated preamp and can be assigned to specific filters, allowing complete customisation of the sound to suit the DJ's musical style or preferences.

Finally, the enhanced connectivity of the XONE:92 MK2 includes XLR outputs, dedicated Booth outputs with stereo/mono control, and a mic input optimised for clean feed, ensuring a pure sound even with vocal sources. New DI inputs and stereo returns allow external instruments or effects to be incorporated, making the console as versatile live as it is in the studio.
