Presentation
The Satori Gen 2 is the latest evolution of Antelope Audio’s award-winning monitoring controller, designed to transform your studio experience. It’s not just an update, but a complete overhaul that delivers significant improvements in accuracy, connectivity, and features. The Satori Gen 2 is positioned as an essential tool for modern studios.
Satori Gen 2 Highlights:
• Ultra-Precise Volume Control: The Satori Gen 2 features a fine-tuned 0.25dB step volume control. This allows for highly accurate stereo balance, even at low volumes. This improvement reduces popping and zipping artifacts when adjusting volume.
• Advanced Analog Summing: A 4-channel analog summing unit with individual volume control is built in. This feature allows sound engineers to enjoy a natural analog mix, with unmatched punch, dynamics and clarity.
• Extensive connectivity: Satori Gen 2 offers 8 stereo inputs and 4 stereo outputs. It is equipped with XLR, TRS and D-Sub 25 connectors, ensuring compatibility with all studio setups, from the smallest to the largest. Satori Gen 2 has 8 analog inputs, including four stereo pairs on line connectors and four on D-Sub 25.
• Enhanced headphone monitoring: Satori Gen 2 features four headphone outputs with independent volume control, including two on the front and two on the rear. These powerful headphone amplifiers allow for precise and detailed monitoring. It also features a talkback function for clear communication in the studio.
• R4S remote control: The included R4S remote control, with a color display, greatly improves workflow. It allows you to easily control all Satori functions directly from the mixing position, including sources, monitors and talkback.
• Neutral signal path: Satori Gen 2 ensures a neutral signal path, allowing you to switch and route sources without altering the clarity of the analog sound. The low-noise power supply, with triple filtering technology, guarantees optimal stability and efficiency.
• Control software: Satori Gen 2 can be connected to a computer via USB to access all settings via control software available on macOS and Windows.
• Independent LFE output: A balanced TRS output is dedicated to connecting a subwoofer, reproducing the selected monitoring signal. There is also a stereo 'sum out' output in addition to the 4 stereo outputs.
Why choose Satori Gen 2?
• Mastering sound quality: Satori Gen 2 offers mastering-level transparency, thanks to high-purity analog circuitry and an optimized power supply.
• Flexibility and control: With its many connectivity options and intuitive interface, the Satori Gen 2 adapts to any studio environment, from home studios to professional studios. It is possible to use multiple outputs simultaneously.
• Innovative attenuation technology: The internal attenuator is designed to reduce artifacts during volume adjustments, for an optimal listening experience.
• Compatibility: There is compatibility with different types of connectors such as TRS, XLR, D-sub. The Satori Gen 2 also comes with a desktop application for Windows and macOS. It can also connect to a computer via a USB 2.0 Type B port.
• Designed for professionals: The Satori Gen 2 is intended for sound engineers, producers and mastering engineers, and medium to large studios.
• Improved workflow: The R4S remote control and control software greatly facilitate studio work, allowing quick and easy access to all of Satori's functions. The Satori Gen 2 has a 'D-sub thru connection' feature, which outputs all 4 stereo channels through inputs 5-8.
