Antelope Orion 32+ Gen4, digital audio interface and converter 32 analog I/O, 128 I/O via Thunderbolt or MADI connection.
ARTICLE N° 89594
Presentation
The Orion 32+, an audio interface recognized for its quality conversion and precise reference clock. The Orion 32+ Gen4's AD/DA converters offer a dynamic range of 130 dB, making it an ideal choice for recording studios. Antelope Audio's proprietary 64-bit Acoustically Focused Clocking powers the high-performance conversion, and the interface has two Word Clock outputs for synchronizing other audio equipment.
The Orion 32+ Gen4 offers expanded connectivity with 128 channels via Thunderbolt™ and MADI, allowing up to four Orion units to be cascaded for a total of 128 AD/NA channels. This makes it suitable for large-scale recordings, post-production and broadcast. The interface is compatible with large mixing consoles, external devices, hardware synthesizers and other audio equipment.
The Orion 32+ Gen4 is also compatible with Antelope Audio's Atmos surround and immersive audio monitoring system. It offers 23 different audio formats and offers precise speaker calibration tools. A physical remote control called MRC is available as an option to facilitate the management of complex monitoring configurations.
To improve workflow efficiency, the Orion 32+ Gen4 features an enhanced software control panel with a preset recall function. It also offers a handy monitoring widget for monitoring output levels. The interface's routing grid is configurable to simplify connections.
In terms of connectivity, the Orion 32+ Gen4 is compatible with Thunderbolt, USB and has options such as ADAT to suit different configurations. It can be used for recording, mixing, digital patching and monitoring control. Additionally, the interface features DC-coupled I/O, allowing CV control signals to be sent from a DAW (digital audio sequencer) to hardware instruments, such as modular synthesizers.
