Antelope Audio - A4-1B + Perpetual license for plugin
Antelope Audio A4-1B is a 100% analog opto-valve compressor with high-quality tubes, remotely controllable via DAW plugin. It offers precise compression, advanced filters, and a musical response suitable for mixing and mastering.
Presentation
Featuring custom-designed British transformers and high-quality tubes, it delivers smooth, musical compression, ideal for mixing and mastering. Its pre-sorted optical cartridge ensures precise response, providing precise control over the audio signal.
With continuously adjustable attack and release times, the A4-1B allows compression to be tailored to the specific needs of each production, ranging from a fast 0.5 ms attack to a long 10-second release.
Its tube-based push-pull amplifier delivers remarkable warmth and dynamics while maintaining a noise floor below -80 dBu, ensuring optimal sound quality across the entire frequency range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
In addition to its analog capabilities, the A4-1B stands out for its digital integration with a dedicated plugin (VST3, AAX, AU) and a standalone app, allowing remote control of key parameters, including attack, release, threshold, and ratio.
Its motorized knobs provide seamless interaction between hardware and software, facilitating session recall and A/B testing via a preset system.
Its robust design incorporates a universal, self-adapting power supply (95V-245V) and DC tube heating for reduced noise and increased stability.
The compressor also features advanced side-chain filters, including high-pass and low-pass filters, and an effective de-esser mode.
With a compact 2U rackmount design, the A4-1B is an ideal solution for professional studios seeking high-end analog compression with modern control flexibility.
