Apex - CP 704

The APEX CP704 is designed to meet the needs of integrators and service providers looking for both power and flexibility. With 4 channels delivering up to 700 W each at 2 to 4 ohms, it is equally suited to low impedance systems and 100 V lines, making it an ideal choice for a variety of installations, from conference rooms to places of worship and music venues.

Thanks to its GlidePath architecture, this model delivers an incredibly clean signal with extremely low distortion and fast response. This design, unique to the CloudPower range, guarantees firmer bass and detailed highs, providing faithful and pleasant reproduction, even at sustained volume. The drivers also benefit from increased protection thanks to the precise management of membrane excursion.

In terms of processing, the CP704 incorporates a full DSP with parametric equalisation, FIR filters, adjustable delays and intelligent limiters. Settings can be made directly from the front-panel OLED display or via the on-board web interface. An Ethernet connection, an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot and compatibility with the IntelliCloud cloud enable the device to be controlled remotely, making the work of installers and sound engineers easier.

Digital connectivity is also on offer, with Dante 4x4 available on the CP704D version, enabling seamless integration into modern audio networks. In addition, there are three ADAT outputs and front-panel headphone monitoring, giving users great freedom of routing and control. The CP704 can be deployed in stand-alone mode or integrated into a more complex network environment.

Energy efficiency is another plus. With its universal power supply with active power factor correction and compact 1U design, it consumes very little power when idle and remains discreet when operating thanks to optimised, silent ventilation.
