Arturia - AstroLab 88
The Arturia AstroLab 88 is a premium 88-key stage keyboard designed for musicians who juggle studio, live performance and philosophical coffee shops on granular synthesis. Featuring a heavy touch and the renowned Fatar TP-40 mechanism, it packs over 1,600 ready-to-use sounds and integrates seamlessly into the Arturia ecosystem. A true extension of the V Collection and Pigments, it operates completely autonomously, with no need for a computer. Whether you're a fan of vintage electric pianos or futuristic synthetic textures, the AstroLab 88 offers you a vast and adaptable sound platform, designed for musicians on the move who want everything... except to compromise.
Presentation
The AstroLab 88 is a real stage chameleon. Thanks to its simplified controls (four macros, ten preset buttons, central thumbwheel), everything is designed so that you can change ambience without losing your coffee or your concentration. It's also compatible with Analog Lab, Pigments and the V Collection, so you can send your creations directly from your computer to the keyboard. WiFi and Bluetooth audio make life even easier, and incidentally, give meaning to the six buttons you never touched on your old keyboards.
Designed for musicians who like to move around, the AstroLab 88 doesn't need a computer. Everything is designed for use in stand-alone mode: presets can be organised via the mobile app, effects can be assigned on the fly, and navigation is simple and straightforward. Its robust format and low weight for a weighted 88-key make it a reliable companion, even when touring starts to feel like an episode of 'Peking Express'. And if you like to personalise your sounds, this keyboard is for you (and your ears).

To find out more...
The keyboard is built with bakelite sides, the retro-futuristic material par excellence, once used for dial telephones and grandma's radios. So it's the only instrument on which you can play granular synths while paying homage to old-world plastics. A sonic and aesthetic bridge between yesterday, today and next weekend's concerts.
