Ashdown - RM-C210T-500 EVO II Combo

The RM-C210T-500's pre-amp stage features high- and low-impedance jack inputs suitable for use with active or passive instruments, allowing you to optimise your input signal, which you can then fine-tune using the Ashdown VU meter.

Once the signal is at its optimum level, you can then use the various functions designed to enrich your sound, such as the Shape button, the 5-band EQ or the integrated compressor.

The Drive control offers a delightful tube overdrive emulation, while the Sub control adds even more depth to your sound (both controls can be footswitched via an FS 2 footswitch sold separately).

The rear panel of the Rootmaster C210-500-T EVO II is also packed with features: balanced DI output, line input, effects loop, headphone output, plus a Neutrik Speakon/Jack socket for adding an external 8-ohm speaker.

A mute switch allows you to tune or change instruments silently, with Ashdown Engineering's iconic VU meter changing from a warm orange to a refreshing blue.

Five-band EQ tone controls work with surgical precision to give you total control over your sound, while a Shape switch gives you instant access to a classic Ashdown sound preset, taken directly from the famous ABM series.

Overdrive and Sub Activated via a footswitch, the tube overdrive emulation can take the basic sound of your bass and turn it into a warm overdrive or a totally trashy distortion, whenever you need to add some grit or craziness to your sound.

Bringing even more depth and definition to your bass parts, the Sub-Harmonic generator lets you select a sub-octave and activate it via a footswitch whenever you need that extra real depth in super heavy passages.

If you want to use your favourite pedals or multi-effects, there's an effects loop on the rear panel, as well as a DI output for sending directly to your PA or recording console, and a line input (with level control on the front panel) allowing you to rehearse with a backing track.

A Neutrik jack/Speakon socket allows you to connect an additional 8-ohm loudspeaker.
