Drawing on over 20 years of expertise in analogue console design, Audient has created Nero, a remarkable controller for your monitoring. Featuring a wide range of inputs and outputs, analogue console-style monitoring control, Precision Matched Attenuation and much more, Nero is sure to become the heart of your studio.

Inputs
Centralise, customise and control
The bigger your studio gets, the harder it becomes to control everything. Nero lets you centralise, connect and control everything you need for your monitoring from your desktop, thanks in part to the wide variety of stereo inputs available:
- 2 x line level inputs
- 1 x dedicated Cue Mix input
- 1 x auxiliary input (rca and mini-jack)
- Optical and co-axial SPDIF inputs

Outputs
Listen to your mixes on three different pairs of monitors and calibrate the output level independently for each pair. You can also assign the 'Sub' output to each pair. Nero also includes 4 headphone preamps (1 main preamp for the mixer and 3 preamps for the musicians) so you can use your headphone mixes in the best possible conditions.

Precision Matched Attenuation
Nero perfectly matches the volume of the left and right channels of your stereo signal thanks to Audient's Precision Matched Attenuation technology. Unlike other monitoring controllers, this technology prevents the signal from shifting between your left and right monitors or altering your stereo image. So you can listen to your mix with complete confidence.

Assignable subwoofer
A subwoofer can easily be assigned to one of the three monitoring outputs, but you also retain the option of activating or deactivating the sub without affecting your presets. Nero also allows you to listen to the subwoofer alternately with the three pairs of monitors without assigning it to a particular pair.

Smart Touchpoints
Smart Touchpoints help you customise your working environment very quickly. You can define your routing and configure Nero's outputs to create the exact combinations you need. Simply press a Smart Touchpoint to launch configuration mode, select your routing options, and save by pressing the Smart Touchpoint again.
- Assign any input to a headphone preamp using the SRC button
- Assign the talkback microphone to all or some of the headphone outputs for simple communication with artists
- Save time by configuring certain outputs permanently as mono. Perfect for use with mono monitoring systems
- Assign your subwoofer to one of the three monitor outputs, with the option of activating or deactivating it at a later date without having to change your initial settings.
