SPL Expansion Rack Silver is a 19″ unit designed to accommodate and expand your SPL monitoring controllers (such as Phonitor 2 or SMC 7.1) in a pro rack. It incorporates a passive 1→4 stereo selector, allowing an output to be routed to up to four pairs of loudspeakers without any active components in the signal. A simple, robust solution for multiple studio listening.

The SPL Expansion Rack Silver is a 19″ integration solution designed for demanding studio environments. Compatible with Phonitor 2, Phonitor 3, Phonitor 3 DAC or SMC 7.1, it allows you to mount your controller in a professional rack while adding a 1-to-4 stereo passive switch that distributes the signal to up to four pairs of speakers.
This routing is done entirely without active electronics or power supply, preserving the purity of the sound. Ideal for comparing different monitoring configurations (nearfield, midfield, full-range, etc.) or for multi-pair listening environments.
