The simplified Mute button enables the microphone to be muted instantly with a simple touch. When the microphone is muted, the LED ring changes from blue to red to indicate that the audio is muted.
Enjoy latency-free monitoring with the integrated headphone output. The headphone jack lets you check the audio directly from the microphone, while the Mix control lets you mix the microphone signal with that from the computer.
The built-in pop filter, with its multi-layered foam mesh windscreen, effectively reduces unwanted plosives for clear articulations when recording in close proximity.
The AT2040USB features a specially designed shock mount to eliminate unwanted noise, shock and vibration from a stand, boom or bracket. In addition, the built-in low-cut filter suppresses low frequencies, providing further reduction of vibration and ambient noise.
