The Avid Mini DigiLink 15m is a digital audio link cable for Pro Tools HD systems using the Mini DigiLink format. It allows compatible audio interfaces to be connected to Pro Tools HD cards or systems while guaranteeing stable transmission of digital audio data.
Designed for professional production environments, this cable is 15 metres long, allowing more flexible installation of equipment in a studio or control room. In particular, this extra distance makes it easier to move computer units or technical racks further away to reduce noise pollution in the workspace.
The cable uses Mini DigiLink male-to-male connectors that are compatible with Digidesign Pro Tools HD systems and Avid infrastructures based on these connectors. It can be used to link audio interfaces, daisy-chain compatible equipment or organise multi-rack installations requiring long-distance cabling.
