Axel Technology - Adaptateur RJ45 vers XLR mâle 3b et Sub-D9 3m

In an audio system, cabling is not always limited to carrying sound. Some equipment also needs to transmit control, status or trigger signals. It is precisely with this in mind that Axel Technology has developed its 3-metre RJ45 to 3-pin male XLR and Sub-D9 adapter, designed for line outputs incorporating a GPIO function.

The cable connects to a compatible RJ45 interface and distributes its various functions to two separate connectors. The audio signal is output via a 3-pin male XLR, whilst the Sub-D9 provides access to a GPIO output. This separation makes each function immediately identifiable on the connected devices and allows the cable to be integrated into an installation without the need for a separate control link.

The GPO can, in particular, be used to transmit information to another component in the chain, depending on the functions available on the Axel Technology equipment being used. The cable therefore provides a connection solution suited to configurations where a line output must maintain its interaction with the console’s control system.

At 3 metres in length, the adaptor provides sufficient reach to connect a console or interface to a peripheral device installed in the same rack, on a work surface or in the immediate vicinity of the control room. The cabling is thus consolidated into a single connection, which simplifies the organisation of the installation.
