Axel Technology - Licence DML Audio 1 Channel

The Axel Technology DML Audio 1-Channel Licence is a software licence that enables one audio capture channel on a DML Audio installation. It forms the basic unit for determining the number of sources that can be recorded simultaneously by the Digital Media Logging system.

With this licence, an audio channel can be recorded continuously and retained for the archiving period defined for the installation. DML Audio is designed to ensure continuous logging of radio programmes, particularly for compliance, broadcast monitoring, advertising verification or content monitoring applications. The system supports various audio sources, including Windows-compatible audio interfaces, WDM cards and AoIP solutions such as Dante and Livewire.

The recorded channel can operate in mono or stereo and use various sampling rates, including 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz. Files can be recorded in several audio formats, with compression and bitrate settings tailored to the available storage capacity and the desired archiving duration.

The 1-Channel licence is particularly well-suited to installations where a single source needs to be logged: a programme output, an audio stream, an external source or a signal intended for monitoring. It therefore allows a DML architecture to be scaled up gradually, by adding further licences when more channels need to be captured.

Recorded content remains accessible whilst recording is in progress. It can then be searched, played back and extracted using the DML Player and DML Web Viewer tools, with search by date and time, variable-speed playback and Mark-In/Mark-Out functions.
