Designed for podcast production, the Yellowtec iXm Podcaster YT5080 combines a universal recorder with an iXm PRO dynamic cardioid microphone capsule. This setup is designed for voice recordings in a variety of environments, from podcast studios to noisy outdoor locations.
The built-in LEA (Level Energy Arbitration) DSP engine allows you to control levels at the touch of a button. This technology simplifies recording management and saves time when creating content.
The sleek dashboard and status LEDs contribute to intuitive operation, whilst the design is engineered to minimise handling noise. The Podcaster features a metal construction with a matt blue anodised finish.
It runs on three AA batteries (supplied) and does not have a built-in rechargeable battery. A 16 GB SD card, a USB cable and the iXm Configuration Software are included. With the microphone head attached, the unit measures 3.5 cm in diameter by 25 cm in length and weighs 72 g.
