The main advantage of this model lies in its workspace. With the Oxygen 3000 Plus 16 Fader 1A console, which features 16 faders within easy reach, the operator can assign a dedicated channel to a greater number of sources and maintain a consistent layout throughout a broadcast. Microphones, players, computers, monitor feeds, telephones or audio feeds can thus remain accessible without having to constantly change the layout of the console. The 16-fader version is 944 mm wide, compared with 764 mm for the 12-fader version, offering more space to arrange the controls.

The console is based on a fully digital architecture and features a 50 × 50 routing matrix. Each input can be equipped with a 5-band parametric equaliser, whilst the microphone inputs feature a compressor and an expander. Up to five microphones can be connected to this configuration using Automix, which automatically manages levels during programmes with multiple speakers.

The Audio I/O card also provides two analogue stereo inputs, four analogue outputs, one AES/EBU input and one AES/EBU output, two stereo USB audio interfaces, a Bluetooth interface, and a telephone hybrid or Telco link. The console also features a built-in decoder and streamer for receiving and generating audio streams.

The user interface is complemented by IPS TFT displays positioned above the faders, START/ON buttons, RGB LED bars, eight customisable Smartkeys and four snapshot recall buttons. Separate monitoring for the control room and studio, the HDMI output and talkback functions also make day-to-day work easier.

Oxygen Remoter allows you to access the control surface remotely with up to eight additional virtual faders. The web interface adds network-based configuration and maintenance functions, giving this 16-fader version a layout suited to both day-to-day operation and the preparation of control room set-ups.
