Axel Technology - Oxygen 3000 Plus 16 Fader 2A Dante

At the heart of a radio control room where the number of sources is constantly growing, the 16 Fader 2A Dante version offers an architecture capable of centralising a large number of connections without compromising routing flexibility. The two Audio I/O cards provide capacity for 10 microphone inputs with Automix, up to 8 analogue stereo inputs depending on source allocation, as well as 8 analogue stereo outputs. The console can also handle up to two Bluetooth interfaces, two AES/EBU or USB digital inputs, two AES/EBU outputs and up to four USB audio inputs.

The 16 × 16 Dante interface complements this connectivity by providing a network-based audio link, configurable in mono, stereo or Telco modes. It enables the exchange of signals with other Dante-compatible equipment and simplifies certain control room set-ups by reducing the number of physical audio connections. The Oxygen 3000 Plus range also supports AES67 and integrates with AoIP environments.

Audio processing is based on a 50 × 50 digital routing matrix and offers I/O latency of less than 0.7 ms. Each input features broadcast-grade processing, with a 5-band parametric equaliser and dynamic processing on the microphone inputs. The control surface features a 7-inch IPS TFT graphic display, individual displays above the faders, customisable RGB keys and eight configurable Smartkeys.

The Oxygen 3000 Plus also incorporates the functions required for communication and broadcasting: telephone hybrids, Telco, Bluetooth, talkback, Control Room and Studio monitoring, as well as an integrated decoder and streamer. Finally, the Oxygen Remoter software allows you to add up to eight virtual faders to extend control over the console.
