B&C Speakers - 12FCX76 4+8 Ohm

The 12FCX76 from B&C Speakers is a coaxial transducer designed for professionals who want to combine the phase coherence of a two-way system with the efficiency of a compact loudspeaker. This dual 4+8 Ohm input configuration provides a clear separation between the bass and treble sections, while maintaining perfect on-axis alignment.

At the heart of this loudspeaker, a 76 mm bass coil ensures a power handling of 700 W in programme, housed in a robust ferrite magnetic circuit designed for reliability.

The frequency response goes down to 47 Hz, with a sensitivity of 98 dB, providing clear coverage of the bass and low-midrange registers in a small enclosure.

The high-frequency section is based on a compression driver with a 75 mm titanium diaphragm, fed by an aluminium coil and a compression chamber with a 50.5 mm output, covering up to 18 kHz.
The whole is optimised by an aluminium demodulation ring, reducing harmonic distortion in the critical zone around the recommended cut-off frequency (1.2 kHz).

Its coaxial horn with 80° coverage makes it a choice option for front-of-house, monitor or on-board monitoring applications, particularly in fixed or mobile contexts where space and simplicity of amplification are essential. The aluminium basket houses a WP waterproof treated cone on the front, guaranteeing good resistance to humidity.
