The B&C 12NBX100 8 Ohm is a 12-inch loudspeaker designed for the most demanding sound applications in terms of bass and low-midrange response. Also known as the 12-NBX100 or 12 NBX 100, it combines power, reliability and lightness in a format that's ideal for professional systems with high sound pressure levels.

This model is equipped with a 100 mm diameter copper voice coil, mounted on a fibreglass support, capable of handling up to 2000 watts of programme power.

It uses an internal/external winding to optimise heat dissipation and a double silicone suspension designed for linear, controlled excursion. The assembly is completed by a ventilated air gap that limits thermal compression, guaranteeing constant behaviour even at high volume.

With its response of 40 Hz to 1500 Hz and sensitivity of 96 dB, the 12NBX100 8 Ohm is ideal for use in two-way loudspeakers or as a bass reinforcement in amplified systems. It is suitable for bass-reflex loads of around 40 litres, tuned to 50 Hz.

The internal neodymium slug magnet motor offers an excellent power-to-weight ratio, and an aluminium demodulation ring reduces distortion by improving magnetic linearity. The cone, waterproof on both sides, is highly resistant to variations in humidity, making it a reliable solution for both fixed installations and touring.
