B&C Speakers - 15NW100 4 Ohm

Designed for high-performance subwoofers, the 15NW100 4 Ohm from B&C Speakers delivers 1000 watts of continuous AES power, with a linear response from 35 Hz to 1500 Hz. It combines 95dB efficiency with an optimised neodymium motor, keeping the weight down while maintaining impressive acoustic punch.

Thanks to its 100 mm copper moving coil, wound in four layers, it handles powerful, repetitive signals without faltering. Its 9 mm Xmax, complemented by an 11 mm Xvar, guarantees excellent excursion behaviour while keeping distortion under control.

The FEA design of the neodymium magnetic circuit concentrates the field particularly effectively, with 1.2 Tesla in the air gap. The result is a high Bl factor of 24.54 Tm, which translates into a driving force for firm, accurate reproduction, even at very high volume.

The double-sided TWP-treated membrane, triple roll suspension and double silicone spider ensure mechanical stability, resistance to humidity and longevity, even in severe conditions. The assembly is optimised to limit thermal and mechanical losses, with a ventilated slot around the coil.

This model is particularly well suited to 100-litre bass reflex speakers tuned around 40 Hz. It is ideal for touring configurations, compact line-array systems or as a replacement in high-output 15" subs.

Compared with other ferrite models, its neodymium motor saves a considerable amount of weight (8.65 kg), while offering superior thermal performance. It's a strategic choice for combining power, lightness and efficiency in mobile or fixed installations.
