The 14NA100 stands out for its unusual 14-inch format, which combines some of the qualities of 12" and 15" speakers without the usual drawbacks. This loudspeaker is aimed at designers of two-way systems who are looking for a transducer capable of sinking into the bass while remaining precise in the low-midrange, without weighing down the speaker or impinging on treble performance.

Beneath its moisture-treated diaphragm (front panel) is a 100mm voice coil mounted on a fibreglass support, surrounded by a neodymium magnet with a central core.

This type of configuration limits the overall weight (just 8.3 kg) and ensures a constant dynamic response, even at high levels. The magnetic flux here reaches 1.15 T, and the assembly is reinforced by an aluminium demodulation ring that acts effectively on distortion and impedance linearity.

With a useful response of 45 to 2000 Hz, the 14NA100 is ideally suited to high-output configurations, where you want to cross the midrange low enough while retaining a good reserve of energy. Its 99dB efficiency makes it an ideal ally for maximising overall system efficiency, particularly in stage monitor or full-range front-of-house applications.

The triple-roll suspension combined with a double silicone spider contributes to stable behaviour throughout the useful travel, with an Xmax of ±8.8 mm. When integrated into a volume of around 60 litres tuned to 50 Hz, the result is a well-controlled response, capable of descending into the low frequencies while remaining fast.
