The 14NDL76 is one of those transducers appreciated for its balance between lightness, speed of attack and mechanical strength capable of keeping up with the dynamics of modern systems. When a loudspeaker in this range starts to show signs of fatigue, the degradation is gradual but perceptible: loss of precision in the attack, less defined midrange, less fluid movement of the diaphragm. The 14NDL76 4 Ohm reconnect kit has been designed to address precisely this situation.

The kit uses the original geometry, materials and parameters defined by B&C Speakers. This means that the mechanical behaviour of the cone, the flexibility of the suspension and the alignment of the voice coil are respected. Once installed, the loudspeaker regains its transient response, midrange articulation and low-midrange efficiency, without requiring any changes to the filtering or equalisation.

This type of replacement is often carried out in repair workshops, but can also be done by technicians used to rebuilding loudspeakers. Precise centring and the correct choice of glue are essential to ensure free movement of the coil in the air gap.
