Presentation
The Recone Kit 12CX32 8 Ohm from B&C Speakers allows you to restore a damaged B&C 12CX32 loudspeaker without having to replace the whole unit. It includes the essential components needed to rebuild the moving part of the original speaker, including both the bass cone and the treble diaphragm.
This model is aimed at sound technicians and service providers who use the 12CX32 in full-range or coaxial loudspeakers, and who want to maintain the original performance after a mechanical or thermal failure. Whether it's to repair a transport accident or extend the life of a loudspeaker system, this recone kit is an economical, reliable and fast solution.
Adapted to a coaxial two-way configuration, it faithfully reproduces the acoustic parameters of the original loudspeaker: 76 mm aluminium bass coil, waterproof membrane on the front, and 75 mm titanium tweeter. This kit provides a frequency response of 55 Hz to 20 kHz, with a high sensitivity of 99 dB in the bass and 105 dB in the treble.
Compatible with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms for both sections, the Recone Kit 12CX32 complies with the voltage, filtering (recommended cut-off at 1.2 kHz) and power handling requirements (700 W continuous on the bass channel, 160 W on the treble channel).
As with all B&C recone kits, assembly requires care and precision. It is recommended that this operation be carried out by a qualified technician to ensure that the coil is centred, glued cleanly and that mechanical tolerances are respected. Once refurbished with this kit, your loudspeaker will regain its initial performance, linearity, efficiency and dynamic behaviour.
This Recone Kit 12 CX 32 is the ideal solution for those who want to prolong the use of their equipment while retaining the signature B&C sound.
